2026 Registration
Open Registration begins on Saturday January 17th, 2026
Dorchester Girls Fastball Association (DGFA) is a girls house league fastball association focusing on individual and team skill development as well as providing an enjoyable and fun atmosphere.
- 2 nights per week (between Monday and Friday as well as Sunday) which may include games and/or practices. Practices time may change at the discretion of coaches.
- Each team will have a home night/diamond but games can be played any night based on CSL schedule.
- DGFA home diamonds can include diamonds in Dorchester, Thorndale and Harrietsville
- Home nights are NOT assigned until after registration sessions are closed and are determined based on number of teams needed to be accommodated within each league, diamond availability, CSL scheduling, etc.
- We are apart of the Community Softball League (CSL) which organizes inter association play within London and surrounding areas.
- Travel is within London and Middlesex County.
- The season goes from early May to mid August and includes two tournaments (June, August). Dates are determined by CSL
2026 Season Divisions/Fees
U9 information:
U9 consists of a shorter season with no mid-season tournament. Games/practices are Saturday mornings at 9 or 11am. There are no strikeouts or walks. There will be 6 pitches (3 by a player and 3 by a coach). The final tournament will be the last weekend in July.

Uniform fees included in registration fees for Tykes through to Bantam. Midget and Junior uniform costs to be determined. Uniform includes shirt and socks. Pants to be purchased by player
Raffle Tickets: Each DGFA registrant must purchase 1 book of raffle tickets (included in the registration cost). Raffle tickets can then be sold to recover the cost. Raffle tickets are non-refundable. Each book of tickets consists of 10 tickets at the cost of $5 each. Filled out raffle tickets are then to be turned in for the final draw.
Face masks are encouraged (not mandatory) to be worn by all players on the infield. It is mandatory for pitchers to wear a face mask when pitching.
