Player Feature - Meet Ainsley
Secret Agent Ainsley…umm I mean Ainsley is in her fifth year playing ball. Ainsley comes from a ball family with her sister also playing and her dad being our head coach, Sean.
Ainsley has been a huge support to her team this year, especially when she is on fire behind the plate as one of our most consistent catchers. Ainsley is also an excellent fielder and very strong when she steps up to the plate too. Ainsley loves to participate in sports all year round and in the off season she loves playing ringette and hockey. It is no wonder she is such a well rounded athlete.
If you ask her teammates about her, Ainsley is described as a true friend, great teammate, incredibly funny and someone you just want to be around. She definitely demonstrated her fun side with the “slip and slide” at the last practice, which is one of her favorite memories of the season.
Novice Blue has been so lucky to have Ainsley as part of our team, and we cannot wait to see what future seasons hold for her.
